Day 1: Welcome to Dar Es Salaam

Habari! You’re finally here!  We’ll whisk you away from Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) after your arrival into the city and take you to your accommodation. After you get settled into your new digs, we’ll introduce you to the rest of your crew for the week; an intimate group of individuals from all over the world ready to experience Tanzania’s culture and history.

Day 2: Explore Dar Es Salaam

The best way to get to know a destination is by gaining a bit of its history. Today, we’ll be taking you on a tour that gives you a deep dive into Dar Es Salaam’s roots. We’ll immediately immerse ourselves in the local culture by trekking through the city to visit Makumbusho village museum, kariakoo market, learning about the people and getting our first taste of Tanzanian hospitality with a Swahili lunch off the beaten path with a famous local chef along the Indian ocean. In the evening, we'll head to a local club to vibe to some Tanzanian jams over great food & drinks and even better company.

Day 3 : Experience the drive from the city to Mikumi national park

Today, we’ll be hitting the road heading to Mikumi the national park found at Morogoro region 4 hours drive from Dar es salaam. Starting with Maasai meat bazaars on the way we’ll have few stops so as we can taste Maasai meats and continue heading to to the park for game drive, lunch (inclusive) then after heading to the camp lodge for accommodation.

Day 4 : Enjoy the full day game drive at Mikumi national park

Get up early in the morning and head for an early morning game drive in the park search for wild game in the park in search for elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos in the hippos pool, warthogs, buffaloes, elands and many more. Later head back to your camp lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 : A short game drive at Mikumi then leave back to Dar es salaam

Get up early in the morning and head for an early morning game drive in the park search for wild game that you could have not seen the previous day. Later head back to the camp lodge check out and transfer to Dar es salaam arriving in the evening.

Day 6 : Explore Dar es salaam city

Back to the city now we can have enough time to enjoy at the island. Yes the island called it Mbudya island today pack your swimming costumes for a great vibe along the shores of the Indian ocean. Then after heading to the club tonight (optional).

Day 7 : It’s so sad to say goodbye!

We know, it feels like you just got here, but it’s time to say goodbye.  Use today to check off those final items on your list before it’s time to head home. The week may have flown by, but the memories and friendships you've made will last forever.
